It sounds like the JLA movie has been cancelled. Really upsetting; not just because I love the series, and love superhero movies, but also because I bought this cool domain and put this site together.
Oh well. According to Adam Brody ( who was slated to play The Flash ), part of the decision to put this project on indefinite hold was financial; with the possibility of a new Superman movie, DC doesn't want to compete with itself. That makes sense.
It's really too bad, and ultimately I think the Avengers movie alluded to at the end of Ironman is a better idea; have the first of each of the superheroes' movies end with them being "called up" to the major group. You go, Marvel.
( Apparently Ironman / Tony Stark has a cameo in the Incredible Hulk movie due out soon. I imagine so will Nick Fury. The Hulk is part of the Avengers ).

Hey, I was just reading on ign.com an interveiw with Adam Brody, and there was no mention of a cancelation of the movie. Whats your source as I was really looking forward to the movie? By the way, thanks for the site!
Hmm.
Ok, on re-reading the interview ( the one I linked to in the beginning of that post ), it doesn’t specifically say “dude, it’s so cancelled.” But it does say
So, yeah, that’s my source; it looks cancelled.
