Heh heh when it opens “My Friends” Brando has a Mccain vibe… Yet we know that Obama is Kal-el. Spooky :) Ya I’m nuts :(

I can only imagine what those poor people at the movie theatre were going through when this trailer popped up on the screen, especially the superman fans. I know that the wait had to have been like waiting on an HIV test results. The wait had to have been horrible after such a suprising, awesome trailer! Love this movie to death and Chris Reeves is the only superman…all others are actors!!! :)

I have seen Superman Returns and now I’d like to know about the 4 movies of Superman.
I know that the 1st and 2nd were great, but it is said the 3rd and 4th were lame.
Can someone explain to me why, please?

watch them and you will see, i watched superman returns about 6times, but its rubbish compared to 1 and 2, … 3 and 4 are good, but dont compare to 1, 2 or returns, you have to watch them to see why,

Superman & Superman II were great stories, full of action. Superman III was dummied down to “try” & be funny. Superman IV lacked any real interesting plot. Besides, Superman is only interesting when Lex Luthor is present, which he was not in Superman III.

I still love this film… Chris was one of a kind.. Brandon may carry Superman on his shoulders but Chris was the first one to really bring him to life…. God bless him wherever he is….

Wow. I can only imagine being the theatre in 1978 (as a kid) and seeing this trailer for the first time. It blows my mind even today! They didn’t divulge much other than the general Superman story (known to comic & non-comic readers alike) & that’s the way ALL movie trailers should be. They give too much away these days. I love the mystical yet direct approach of this.
